Here at La Grande Boissiรจre, the largest campus of the Ecolint Foundation, there are more things that students notice, rather than just the great quality of the education provided.
A campus with multiple specialized buildings, such as the city-renowned Centre Des Arts, or the historical Chateau which houses the humanities subjects, and let’s not forget about the very important cafeteria where the students indulge in snacks, lunches, and even late afternoon treats.
The cafeteria is the most common place of all students, regardless of classes or year groups. It is the spot every Ecolint student visited at least once throughout their academic journey. A place where a vast array of cultures merge to form the best possible culinary experience for students.
However, does everyone have the same opinion when it comes to the menu or the quality of the food?
This week 5 people have been anonymously interviewed regarding their own views and opinions regarding the cafeteria experience, and why they think it’s good (Or not!).
What do you think of the cafeteria? Are you satisfied with its offers and the quality of the food?
“I think it’s really good, incredibly overpriced, and I think they should be careful with food safety. I once got a piece of metal in my food. I am satisfied, yes.”
“Yeah bro it’s fine. The food’s good and the service is nice too.”
“I like the cafeteria and I’m satisfied with the quality of the food but in my opinion the prices are too high for cookies and such.”
“I think that the cafeteria is very nice and especially the food. The food is very high quality compared to other schools and we are lucky to eat there every day. The only thing would be the price for the food and mainly for the snacks.”
“It’s aight.”
“Overpriced (Take over 100% profit on some snacks) I checked.”
“In my opinion the cafeteria food is great if you are not trying to keep a diet. As an athlete I find it complicated to keep a balanced diet with both protein and carbs when I know I can get things such as chicken wings and fries. It would be nice to have a section dedicated to just the athletes in the school that are a part of the sports program (SPORTS+)”
There you have it. A cafeteria with quite a good selection, as the fellow students said, but allegedly with prices too high. While I can agree that the food offered is definitely tasty, I also have to unfortunately agree with the complaints regarding pricing, and tempting unhealthy options.
What do you think? Do you like the cafeteria food? Let us know!
