As the February break approaches, students get more and more excited to finally have their long-awaited relax. A mid-semester break is everything an overstimulated student body requires.
I know very well you enjoy a good break and I can’t blame you. So do I! However, what do the students think of the amount of breaks? Is it enough for such workload? Maybe it is too much for some and disrupts the study flow?
Either way, let’s see what the fellow student base says itself!
Is the amount of breaks sufficient for a student in Ecolint?
“Yes, too much. I believe that we shouldn’t have more breaks because it would break the flow of our work.”
“There are already enough holiday breaks, however, there should definitely be more breaks throughout the school day. At least 5-minute breaks between each class.”
“Yea, it’s much more than other schools in Geneva. I like how they’re evenly spread out, though.”
“I like the holidays, but I wouldn’t mind if there were more. Especially since it’s an IB school.”
“I’ve asked so many friends about if they’re satisfied with their school holidays, and most say it’s okay but they always ask why we have so many. Personally, I like it.”
“It’s okay.”
So, will the holidays at Ecolint ever be sufficient? Who knows. Maybe every single time they add a new one, the people who already accustom themselves to it will want more. Honestly, it’s a never ending cycle, so let’s be happy with the free-time we get so far. I do, however, agree with the 5-minute breaks.
